I finished it rather quickly as it was a pretty quick read. I did enjoy the setting of the book and how fast-paced it was. Though the message that the story left behind was great and I loved the emotional journey the characters went through. I felt for me that the summary truly didn’t bring the story I was hoping for and gave more of a treasure hunt story. It felt very middle-grade when it came to the choice of words, the dialogue, and the vibe. Though I have to say that once I started this book, the style of writing was not for me. When I read the summary, I was very intrigued by the plot. This book is about a girl who made a deal with a morally gray billionaire and both hate each other though there is a spark between them. maybe i'll try reading this a another day i just found the characters boring and couldn't bring myself to care about them. or i'm probarbly going thru a reading slump. maybe the writing style didn't work for me or the pace was too slow i don't know. Now i really tried liking the story but i just couldn't.
